Some people think it an art to come up with what they think are "good excuses" - often nothing more than just a mere testimony to their own lack of self-confidence.
Here's what to do to avoid becoming another member of the "poor excuses" club...
Good reasons for bad events
Of course, there are happenings which happen to all of us. The Book of Ecclesiastes is a good testimony to the fact that "time and chance happen to us all".
But we need to recognize what we CAN do about the situation BEFORE it becomes critical, rather than just being passive until things start burning around us. A wise man (and by extension: wise woman) will ALWAYS recognize the need to act faithfully towards his (or her) friends. Waiting until the last moment before acting and reacting will only make matters worse.
So what are YOU doing to show your fidelity towards your neighbor?
If nothing else, be certain that you are ALWAYS honest towards your friends, family and neighbors. More than this: be honest towards yourself. You KNOW whether you fulfill this highly important quality of being trustworthy.
If you don't tomorrow is too late. You MUST begin changing your perspective today. Tomorrow is procrastination - I have written on that theme also...
Good luck. Your friends will appreciate it. :-)
