While there, don't forget to pay a visit to Tolstoy's Palace. The palace was constructed in 1832 for Count Tolstoy under the supervision of the architect Boffo. Rich furnishings and period furniture grace the many rooms of the palace.
The Odessa Numismatics Museum should also be on your itinerary. At first glance, this might seem like a museum that only coin collectors would be interested in. But as a matter of fact, it's full of fascinating exhibits for all to enjoy. It's home to more than twenty five thousand coins and other relics, dating from medieval times to the present.
