This is NOT an affiliate link, but is your chance to read more about this diet.

My parents went on this diet in 2006, and now - after I quit smoking - I do realize that weight loss is next on the list of priorities. I ordered this book straight away, just as I have read a similar book in Danish.

Not A Diet - More Lifestyle Change
Any doctor - from Dr. Phil on TV to your own local physician - will confirm that lasting weight loss deals with a lifestyle change. Uncomfortable as it may seem to avoid pasta, rice and potatoes for 2 weeks, we should seriously consider taking better care of ourselves.

Phases
Phase 1 can be taken all over again IF you feel you have compromised too much for a certain period. Some do this during the x-mas season, others do so during vacations etc.

You are the best judge as to how much you need to loose. But seriously considering taking the South Beach Diet should be at the forefront of your considerations when you begin.

Good luck. :-)

The book - why not an affiliate link? Is it against the rules? I was searching for them by the way.

I been on the South Beach. Lost weight in the first phase, but regained in the second. I guess what I really need is exercise.

Cheers
Britt
