Water retention is a big source of frustration for people that are overweight. Your ankles, wrists and even your face can swell up because you're retaining too much water.
Water retention can also be a major issue if you have High Blood Pressure.
A lot of people think that buying over the counter diuretics is the way to lose water weight quickly, but trust
me.. there are better ways to drop water weight.
For example:
Drink more water. Your body maybe retaining water because you're not drinking enough as it is. So your
body goes in starvation mode and starts storing it.
Eat more Bananas.. Bananas are a great source of potassium. Potassium helps regulate your bodies fluid
levels. If you don't get enough potassium, it could explain why you're retaining water.
Another great way to lose water weight is to reduce your carbohydrate intake. One of the reasons that
people love low-carb diets is that the first few days you can drop a ton of water weight. When you reduce
carbs, your body burns glycogen and glycogen contains large amounts of water.
Reduce your sodium intake. Salt makes you retain water.. The less you ingest, the better.
