I started the Flat Belly Diet Jumpstart 5 days ago. After reading information about how the diet targets the fat that accumulates around your stomach, I decided that it would be a good choice--since I have fat around my stomach.

In the book The Flat Belly Diet, there is a 4-day jumpstart to the diet. The jumpstart focuses on getting rid of bloating issues and preparing yourself for the diet that consists of 4 400 calorie meals per day.

Jumpstart Days 1 and 2 went well, Day 3 not so well. So I redid Day no. 3 yesterday.

I knew that Day 3 redo would be a challenge since I woke up early and I was going to a football game that night--where you can smell popcorn, hotdogs etc.

Day 3 Redo went well. I think after you set your mind that you are going to eat only so much, you can develop the will power to stay with the program. During the day I stuck to the plan without much hunger. Around 5 pm I made some grilled chicken with potatoes so that I would be full before going to the football game.

The chicken really filled me. Personally I don't think I like potatoes,. Eating plain pototatoes with only olive oil to me tasted like eating paper. I usually have tons of butter, sour cream and salt on baked potatoes. But I forced myself to eat them for dinner.

I was so full at the game, I wasn't even tempted to eat any of the food there (we'll call that food the FAT belly diet)!

Tomorrow I am supposed to start the actual Flat Belly Diet. My stomach feels less bloated than it did before I started this diet. I will try to weigh myself later!

Stay tuned tomorrow for the first day of the Flat Belly Diet.
