Days 10-20 of 6 week diet program
Sticking to a diet program can be very hard, especially when you are travelling, eating out and having guests visit.
You must make a conscious decision to eat better and exercise. Below are 6 great tips that have helped me as I approach the middle of my 6 week diet program.
1. Write down the calories of the food that you eat. Included drinks, snacks--basically everything that enters your mouth.
2. Cut out chips and oily snack foods completely. These are just a waste of calories. And they have virtually no nutritional value.
3. Cut out sodas completely. They have a lot of sodium in them and this will cause unnecessary bloating. Try to drink water exclusively.
4. Switch your milk to either 1% or skim.
5. Exercise at least 3-5 times per week. If you don't feel like exercising, just go for a brisk walk.
6. When you feel hungry, drink water to make sure you are not just dehydrated.
By cutting calories here, burning calories there, you are bound to lose weight. Losing weight is just a numbers game
