There's nothing more annoying that looking at the serving sizes for food to find out that 1/2 a cup or so is the actual serving size for the calories listed on the box.

Who comes up with these serving sizes anyway? Probably one of those super-skinny models. They moonlight with food companies to come up with serving sizes that are sometimes equivalent to a few spoonfuls.

Day 2 of my Jumpstart for the Flat Belly Diet went well, except for some issues with serving sizes. Although, today I have to say I am feeling a little bit......................

Tired.

My tiredness (is that even a word?) could be from the numerous activities of the last few days, combined with less sleep. Plus today is a little bit rainy and I think my sinuses are starting to act up--always a factor of being tired.

So, today I plan to beef up on Vitamin C throughout the day to ward off any sinus issues. A huge problem that I always have when I am tired is that I tend to be more hungry. Today's jumpstart menu will definitely be a challenge to stick to.

Yesterday I did fairly well throughout the day with all the meals and snacks. I still had a few substitutions for stuff I didn't have and I actually had the snack for my actual lunch. Some of my substituions (like cashews and pistaccios) are low in sodium, but not sodium free.

Dinner was pretty tasty last night. It was grilled chicken. I used Mrs. Dash seasoning on the chicken instead of salt and pepper. It says on the bottle that Mrs. Dash is salt-free, but my chicken sure did taste salty.

Today, my stomach appears to be less puffy today. I really should measure my stomach to compare actual numbers. I just hatet doing that!!!!!! I would much rather go by how my clothes feel. Focusing on numbers seems to side-track my efforts somehow.

Today I will need to drink tons of water to help with my fatigue. It's not even noon and I feel like going back to bed.
