Although you may have many goals and dreams, you find it hard to achieve them because of your low self confidence. Hence, it is important that you learn how to build your self confidence, so that you can have the motivation you need to achieve just about anything you want out of life.

Here are three exercises you can try each day to gain the self-confidence you need.

Break down your goals. Instead of setting a big goal that appears lofty at this stage, try breaking it down in tiny steps that need to meet each day. You gain confidence with every milestone you hit and that helps you to move forward to the next goal.

If your goal is to save money for a vacation that costs $1,000, then plan tiny steps like placing $5 in a savings jar each day. You build self confidence knowing that you can keep to saving $5 a day. This is far better than not having a disciplined plan.

In addition, even if you fail to achieve your big goals, you can still pat yourself on the back on what you have accomplished. The small goals and baby steps can help you to build the self confidence that you need that you can actually be pretty capable of accomplishing your daily targets.

Start a journal. We accomplish a lot of little things in the span of 24 hours, but often do not often view them as achievements. However, it helps if we record down positive things about ourselves in a journal.

By putting them in a journal each day, you see how they build up over the weeks, months, and years. You can start recording simple things such as speaking up for someone who has been unfairly punished or a random act of kindness. As you look back on your entries of positive accomplishments, it will give you motivation to achieve even more. You build your self confidence when you feel that you have made a positive change to the lives of others. You feel valued and good about yourself.

Read inspirational quotes. Inspirational quotes can also help you to build self confidence. There are several. Simply search on the internet for those that can help motivate you. See if they can apply to your circumstances and life. You can also use these quotes to positively affirm to yourself a few times per day. Remember to put the inspirational quote for the day down in your journal. At the end of the month, you will have 30 quotes that have helped you build your self confidence.
