I am a mom and I did it. I am not a millionaire yet, but I sell between $500 and $1000 in product working very part time every month. In November of last year, the first month I started and right before Christmas, I sold over $5,000 worth of items on ebay. Did I earn extra money? You bet. Did I earn extra money from home? Yes indeed. And you can do it too.
So does it take money to make money? Yes, of course it does, but we are talking about spending the cost for a few cups of coffee here, not taking out a loan. You will need a good digital camera. Mine cost about $140 and I bought it in Sams Club. But, you can find great bargains on Ebay as well.
Ebay is one of the best ways and one of the simplest ways to earn extra money and one of the best ways to earn extra money from home that I know of. It is an extremely cost effective way to advertise your product and get thousands of visitors looking to buy what you have. Believe me, I have tried everything and I mean everything and working from home to earn extra money through Ebay has worked for me.
If you want to get started the easiest way is to get an ebay account. Choose a username that fits the kind of business you are thinking of starting. Mine is kawasakiguy89. . . that's because I borrowed it from my son and I have so many people tell me they remember it because it is unusual. It has nothing to do with my product. I don't own a kawasaki and I am not 89, nor am I a guy. But it works for me. I would suggest however, that the best way to earn extra money from home would be to choose a product that you think you would like to sell. Maybe you like baby blankets. So sign up with Ebay using a username like babyblanketmomma or worldsbestbabyblankets or blanketmom, or babyblanket. . . I think you get the point.
The next step is key. . . buy at least 10 products that are under $1 from different sellers. Then pay right away through Paypal. Don't have a paypal account? Sign up for one and GET VERIFIED. It takes no time to sign up for an account, but it takes a few days to get verified. No one wants to wait for checks in the mail and it will take alot longer for you to earn extra money from home if you start building your Ebay feedback this way.
Why are you buying products first instead of selling them? You need to build up your feedback rating. The Ebay user community rates you on your performance. If you pay promptly, or ship your items quickly, you will get positive feedback. That's what you are looking for. Even two negatives can hinder your ability to earn extra money from home.
I paid $100 to find out this next secret to earning extra money from home. Once you have a user name and password, you can do a little bit of research before deciding whether or not to sell any type of baby blanket. Maybe you need to focus on a particular brand name that is hard to get, ie. Looney Tunes. Here is the secret. Type in baby blanket in the buy search bar. Then go down to the boxes on the left column and find "items sold". Put a check mark in the box. Then click on the search bar. You will see all of the items for baby blanket that have sold, what they are and how much they've sold for. That's the great research that will cause you to earn extra money from home.
Now you are armed with your feedback and you know how much money you need to spend to make a profit selling baby blankets. Once you have a feedback of at least 10 positives then go to yardsales, or Goodwill, or the Salvation Army. Look in your local newspaper or consignment shop for like new items. If that doesn't work, save your coupons and go to Walmart or Target, or Sams Club, or Marshalls, or any discount store that sells first rate products and find your first baby blanket on sale. Make sure that blanket is deeply discounted and I mean deeply. You won't be able to earn extra money from home if your products can be easily found in retail stores for less than what you will be selling them for.
Find a unique blanket, 75% off retail at least and try it. Take several wonderful pictures. List it. Ebay walks you through the process. Believe me, once you've done it once or twice, it will be second nature. Then, rush over to auctiva.com and sign up. It will make your life trying to earn extra money a breeze compared to listing each auction you have separately.
