There are a series of six outdoor lagoon-style pools that are designed with shallow water for the kids and deeper waters for the adults. You can lounge around the pool as there are plenty of lounges available. There is a swim up bar and jacuzzis. For those who like the water there are daily games and water activities offered by the staff plus snorkeling lessons. These pools are some of the largest of their kind in Mexico.
If you like the beach there is snorkeling, scuba diving lessons, kayaking, catamarans, sailing, paddleboats, beach volleyball, and ocean swimming. The waves are calm so it's great for the little ones at the Moon Palace but there is quite a bit of sea grass although many may mistake it for sea weed. Sea grass grows out of the bottom and you don't get as tangled in it as you would if you had sea weed wrapped around your legs.
If you are a golfer you will love the 72 par Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course which has 7,165 yards of green and sand surrounded by lush jungle vegetation and plants. Then there is the amazing spa where you can be pampered to your heart's content.
Both kids and adults will enjoy the miniature golf course, 6 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, biking, roller-blading, billiards, ping-pong, and darts. There is a wonderful Kid’s Club where children ages 4 to 10 can enjoy supervised indoor and outdoor activities including arts and crafts, board games, coloring, movies, video games and miniature golf. There is a well maintained playground as well. The children even have their own lunch and dinner menu!
