Easter cards are so pretty wouldn't it be fun to make some cards.

I love Easter cards. Pretty soft pastel colors, cute bunnies, Easter baskets and spring flowers. There are tons of ideas for creating cards for Easter. I'll share a few simple ones you can do with your kiddos.

All you need is card stock or even construction paper cut and folded to the size you want.

You easily glue 2 popsicle sticks on as a cross or glue a palm frond on the front for palm Sunday.

Cut an Easter basket out of paper or draw one on the card then use small pom pom balls as the Easter eggs.

Draw or let the kids draw Easter eggs on the card and color them in. Use dot stickers ore stripe stickers to decorate the eggs.

Draw a duck and then fill it in with yellow fuzzy fabric. The boys will favor the duck over the more flowery ideas.

Simple rick rack glued on a card is pretty or glue on some dried flowers. Draw some simple flowers in pretty colors. Kids love to draw flowers (well girls anyway).

Bunnies are easy to do. Draw circle for the face and two large ears. Add cotton balls in the ears or draw the whole bunny and use cotton balls for the bunny tail.

There are so many great stamps you can buy. Stamp a card and color i tin or just use the stamp.

Go to your local card store and check out their Easter cards for ideas. Think of cards you received in the past and liked - is it something you could make? Give it a try.

Have fun and remember the cards don't nee dto be perfect. If the kids enjoyed making Easter cards that's all that matters.
