Computer Running Slow

Computer Running Slow

Advanced users and people that are very proficient in computer usage can help a computer that is running slow. One of the primary places that will slow down a computer is the actual computer registry. Through the computer registry you can change different settings and even remove programs that have been uninstalled from your computer to speed up the computer. However, it is strongly recommended that you backup your computer registry before making any changes.

Often people will uninstall a program manually on their computer. Users then think that the computer is completely clean of the various programs that they are no longer using. However, there are often shared files and hidden files. The hidden files will not be completely removed from the computer system. When the computer register thinks that a program is still installed, it will limit how much free processing is available.

When you completely remove the programs from the computer registry that are no longer on the computer system will keep speed up a computer. Often, a computer will run slow because the registry still has programs in it that are not actually installed on the computer any longer. Prior to removing anything from your computer registry always make a backup copy. If you are completely new to what a computer registry is, have a professional make the changes for you.
