Why Is A Camera Printer A Good Investment?

Posted on Oct 17, 2007 at 10:35 AM by Christopher Smith | Comments (0)

In recent years there have been a lot of advances in photography. While some professionals have stuck with film because they know it, and they feel it is the best medium for photographs, some have gone digital. Many consumers have fallen in love with digital photography as well, and you will see more digital cameras at events than other types for the most part. One thing that is very appealing about digital photography is that you don’t have to process film any longer, but you do have to print photos. That is why a camera printer is a good investment.

When people first started printing photos, there was no specific camera printer you could buy. You could get the best printer you could find, but you often had to print out what you wanted on a large sheet and then cut them out. Photo paper for printing came out rather quickly, but the sheets were still the size of your average printer paper. You could print more than one per sheet, but it took a lot of time to cut them out, and some would have to be reprinted because they were cut wrong.

Do it like Zidane Video a Big Hit

YouTube - ZIDANE a new way to solve problems.. make it like zidane

I came away from the World Cup in awe of the skill of the players. I watched about 55 of the 64 games, and was riveted to most of them.

But in the last game, as I was pulling for France to win, the world-renowned Zenedine Zidane lost his head and left the world of soccer with a head butt of an Italian player.

Hopefully, he will be remembered for his skill and championships instead of this event.

But to make sure this doesn't happen, a few folks have put together an awesome video satirizing the French soccer star. You have got to see this....

HD Camcorders and Editing: The Wave Of The Future

HD Video Cameras have recently hit the consumer market, allowing people to shoot their own home videos in high definition. Right now, HD camcorders run around $5000 making them more a pro toy than something mom and dad would pull out at graduation. As time goes on however I think we will see more HD camcorders in the consumer market, especially as the price drops down to something the average family can afford to pay.

Creative X-Fi update

Posted on Dec 4, 2005 at 08:15 AM by Paul Ackerley | Comments (0)

Creative Labs Xtreme Fidelity has a much needed driver update available.
The original drivers offered fantastic sound from their latest range of cards. Naturally the first thing you tend to do it look for the latest updates. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the September drivers where deeply flawed and muted the sound. It also did horrible things to the volume controls.

Anyway, the latest update - classed as critical - fixes all the flaws and gives it a boost besides, one more justifying the 'X' for of 'X-Fi' So much so that music and games that needed to be set at 75% to be reasonably audible now blast out my speakers at a mere 10%.

If you see any bad reviews for this card, assume they used the first set of updates, because with the December patches it is firmly back on top!

The New Ipod Video - My Review

Posted on Nov 2, 2005 at 03:07 AM by Paul Hubert

I was able to pick up an iPod with Video at my local Apple store on Tuesday. While the 30GB model has been in stock for a few days now, the 60GB model just began arriving this week. After the Valley Fair Mall Apple store failed to call me to let me know that the 60GB iPod was in stock, I called them to place it on hold. I got there only an hour after calling to find out that they sold my hold! I headed off to the Oakridge store, where I had no such problems, and purchased my 60GB iPod.
