What Make Successful People Tick?

Do you ever wonder what is the secret of successful people that enable them to get a head start in their business career?

The book "We Are All Self-Employed, by Clift Hakim (Berrett Koeler,1994) gives insightful points, if you want to be gratified and successful by work. You need to proactively manage your career; you need to decide your next steps, acquire the necessary skills, and actively pursue your choices.

Along the way these tips may help :

1. Dream big. Your potential to achieve great things is limited only by your imagination. When you free your mind of self-imposed limitations, you begin to unleash your innate power to achieve great things.

2. Ask the experts. Don't be intimidated to ask the experts. Contrary to common belief, experts are all too willing to share their knowledge.

3. Develop the habit of winning. Celebrate your little victories, and cut to size every time you are faced with great obstacles, that way you can comfortably handle them.

4. Look for the future. Use the present moment to do what needs to be done in order to be the best in the future.

5. Have fun. Enjoy life even if you start your own career or business.
