Here's my take on success...
I think ultimate success comes when you uncover that unique ability and concentrate all your efforts through that unique ability.
The next key is to find a way to provide value to others through this unique ability.
Let’s take a quick look at Tiger Woods for a second. Tiger was born with the unique ability to strike the golf ball in a manner that produces under par rounds that win golf tournaments.
When he was younger, this ability was discovered and his father was smart enough to help his son concentrate his efforts through this ability.
Now the value of this ability to play golf provides commercial value to large corporations, that they are willing to pay Tiger millions of dollars for speaking on behalf of their products.
Here’s the flip side of that coin.
If the perceived value disappeared so would those millions.
The key is to become better at your craft everyday.
What is that unique ability that you have that others are amazed that you can do it with such ease.
The problem with this is that because it is so easy for us to do, we don’t appreciate it as much and discount it as not valuable.
When you can market this ability to those who are willing to pay you for it, you are moving in the right direction.
What ability do you have that others are amazed at how easy it is for you?
This should be your starting point.
The next step is to find out how you can concentrate more of your time doing that skill, serving more poeple.
