Fundraising with Online Shopping Raises Money for Nonprofit Organizations

One method of fundraising I like to recommend is what I call "long-term, hands-free" fundraising. This involves setting up a program that brings in money for your nonprofit organization, year-round, with little effort once it is established. Online fundraising programs are becoming more commonplace and there are many ways to raise money online. One way to raise money is by registering your organization with Bloomees.com.

Bloomees has an online shopping program that gives money back to nonprofit organizations when purchases are made through the Bloomees website. The stores associated with Bloomees are major online retailers such as Target, Netflix and Barnes and Noble. When your supporters shop through Bloomees, Bloomees receives a commission from the retailers. Bloomees in turns give part of the commission back to registered nonprofit organizations.

Nonprofit organizations can register for a free Bloomees account. You will get a free web page for your organization, too, so you can showcase your cause. Your
supporters can join for free also and are credited with $5.00 to get them started raising money for your nonprofit organization.

This time of year is a great time to get started fundraising with Bloomees. Once you are set up your supporters can shop online year-round for your benefit.
